Ken commenced his employment with Beilby Downing Teal in 2024, following a 40 year career with the Department of Education.

During his career Ken assumed a variety of roles including teaching, Principal, Director and Executive Director positions.

As a senior consultant Ken draws on his experience to manage initial shortlisting and interviews, complemented by applicant feedback. Ken has an insight into recruitment and selection from within Department of Education and secondments to other Government agencies and projects.

Ken has built an excellent reputation in his diverse roles across Western Australia, with his calm and considered manner, focusing on the needs of clients.

In his own time, he engages in volunteering and closely follows the athletic and cycling careers of two of his three son’s, who represent Australia at World Championships and Paralympic level.
