Louise retired from the WA Department of Education, after 42 years as a Primary Teacher and School Leader. As a Classroom Teacher for over two decades, Louise had responsibility for curriculum and school leadership, where her particular passion was promoting books and building a love of reading with young people. As a School Leader, mentoring and coaching emerging teachers to inspire their commitment to the profession and support the development of their professional practice, Louise also brought a passion and commitment to selecting staff, best suited to the school context. Since joining Beilby Downing Teal in 2020, Louise has provided recruitment support services to a range of public sector agencies, particularly the WA Department of Education, and works closely with selection panels to guide and support them through their recruitment projects.
