Stuart is General Manager at Beilby Downing Teal and leads a dedicated team of research and consulting specialists in Sydney. He focusses on executive search and selection within the, construction and infrastructure, manufacturing and wholesale, industrial, engineering, oil and gas, utilities and mining and resources sectors.

Stuart has extensive knowledge and experience within his specialised sectors and has an outstanding track record in conducting senior search assignments throughout Australia, New Zealand, Sth East Asia, and the United Kingdom.

Stuart has ten years’ experience at Beilby Downing Teal and 25 years in the industry. Prior to joining Beilby, he led the technical and industrial practice of an independent search company, established a leading executive search practice within a national ASX listed recruitment business and held several senior sales and marketing management roles.

During his business career, he has acquired valuable insight and skills relating to the sourcing, development and retention of talented executives/leaders, who have the capabilities to add strategic value to the management and growth of businesses.

Stuart’s qualifications include: a Masters of Management, Marketing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (1999).

With a keen interest in eradicating homelessness Stuart volunteers his time at a Sydney based retreat, which provides last resort meal and bed for the night support.
