THE ROLE

As part of its strategic vision, the City is seeking to diversify its income streams to ensure long-term sustainability and growth, through its investment property portfolio. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Senior Strategic Property Advisor will play a critical role in identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities through strategic property investments, complex leasing negotiations, project feasibility assessments, and land acquisitions and disposals.

REQUIREMENTS

The City is seeking a strategic thinker with strong business acumen to drive informed decision-making and deliver value-driven outcomes. Experience in senior strategic property projects, complex leasing negotiations and project feasibility assessments is essential, as is knowledge of the statutory requirements of the Local Government Act and Land Administration Act, or other relevant legislation and ability to interpret the relevant Act and policy.

THE PACKAGE

In return you will receive a generous salary package of up to $200,700 per annum (base salary of $165,000 to $180,000 plus superannuation) and five weeks’ annual leave on a contract of up to five-years.
