Andrea’s working career spans in varied job roles within the Western Australia Police Force since joining the agency in 1988.  A key aspect of her role as Director Office of Commissioner was to ensure that the Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioners’ and Executive Director and other members of the senior executive were kept apprised of current contentious issues as well as matters of emerging risk or importance. 

Since joining Beilby Downing Teal in 2021, her experience includes providing the full range of recruitment services, including functional and structural reviews, job design and SES recruitment; the provision of consultancy advice to the Police Commissioner and other members of the Board on restructures; strategic planning and policy development and implementation skills; experience working on governance, risk and probity; and excellent relationship skills.

She has completed her Post graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce with highly developed written and oral communication skills which has assisted her with being a member of an Executive Team for a number of years. Andrea has a particularly strong work ethic, has high ethical standards and always displays professionalism in the way she conducts herself.
